Coming up on the 20th of this month, after the dust has settled from St. Paddy’s Day celebrations, Serve the City will be out getting it done again with about four different service opportunities, from Greystones to Dun Laoghaire to Crumlin.
In Greystones, there will be a team of about 10 university students from California serving in a foster home (formerly an orphanage). The students will be gardening, cleaning, and tidying up the big piece of property to prepare for further renovations and expansion.
In Dun Laoghaire, a small team will be cleaning and painting for a woman with health challenges. We’ll also have two teams in Crumlin to paint in two separate homes and possibly replace a kitchen window in one.
We are in need of further volunteers for these projects, so please feel free to click on the blue ‘VOLUNTEER’ button at top right in order to offer your voluntary time and energy to serve your city!
