National Day of Volunteering happens here in Ireland on Friday, 1 October, and we want to encourage you to find an opportunity to participate in any way you can. Be sure to visit the good folks at Volunteer Centres Ireland to find ways that you can get in on the action. (CLICK HERE to see all of the registered projects in your area.) While Serve the City won’t have anything happening on that day in particular, we are continuing our Third Saturday S3RVE Days on the 18th of September and the 16th of October.
In the lead up to National Day of Volunteering, there will be a Volunteer Fair in Meeting House Square, Temple Bar on Sunday the 26th, from 1-5pm. Serve the City will have a display table, so come on down to see us and discover other ways of volunteering your time and energy to good causes across the city!
